Do I need planning permission for a house renovation?
Most internal renovation work — new kitchens, bathrooms, replastering, rewiring — doesn't need planning permission. Structural changes, work on listed buildings, or alterations in conservation areas may require consent, which we'll flag during your free site visit.
Do you handle building regulations approval?
Yes. Structural work, electrics, plumbing and insulation upgrades are carried out to current Building Regulations, and we coordinate sign-off with building control on your behalf.
Can I stay in the house during the renovation?
For many projects, yes — we phase work room by room where possible. For full rewires or whole-house strip-outs, we'll be upfront if temporary alternative arrangements make sense.
How long does a full house renovation take?
A single room refresh can take one to two weeks; a full house renovation typically runs eight to sixteen weeks depending on scope. You'll get a realistic schedule as part of your quote.
